In 1938, Alfred Trauffer, the grandfather of the current owner, founded his company – with genuine Swiss craftsmanship and great attention to detail.

Even today, the figures in the Trauffer Edition 1938 and the Pro Specie Rara collection are created exactly as they were back then: lovingly hand-carved from FSC-certified Swiss linden wood. Each figure is a small work of art – crafted in the Bernese Oberland and painted with completely safe, child-safe paints.
